Boga Lake also called Baga Lake or Bogakain Lake is a lake located in Ruma Upazila in the hill district Bandarban, Bangladesh. It is a natural sweet and deep water lake. Boga Lake is the highest natural lake of Bangladesh. The lake is rectangular in shape. The water color of the lake varies at different times at a day depending upon the sun light, humidity and clouds. | |
The lake is bounded on three sides by mountain peaks covered with thick bamboo bushes. It is a closed lake and there is a small spring named Boga chhara. The water is crystal clear and under the lake the water there are rocks and boulders all over.
There are small tribal communities like the Bawm, Tripura and Khumi located around the lake.
There are around 20 cottages located in the Bogalake surrounding.
Boga Lake is much a magnetizing
place which must astonish tourists with amazing landscape zigzagging thin path
way and all the other wild elements around the Boga Lake . So Boga Lake is must visit place in Bandarban.
